MyCPD was developed by E2 Solutions to assist Healthcare Providers and Event Organisers to comply with the Health Professions Council of South Africa’s – CPD guidelines. Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is a compulsory requirement with a set of guidelines determined by the Health Professional Council of South Africa.
As required by the HPCSA, all content must be accredited by an approved accreditor of the Health Professional Council of South Africa. MyCPD warrants that all online CPD content is accredited by officially approved accreditors of the HPCSA, in compliance with their CPD guidelines.
Healthcare Providers are obliged to obtain a set number of Continuing Education Units per annum as stipulated by one of 12 medical boards. Continuing Education Units are awarded for attendance at accredited events and successfully completing educational courses.
Events and educational courses are allocated Continuing Education Units by an approved accreditor. The Health Professions Council of South Africa audit 20% of all Healthcare Providers each year.
